The three characteristics of a professional?

Listening to Margaret Throsby this morning on ABC Classic FM - she interviewed a guy who spoke about the three characteristics of doctors:

• Authoritative.
• Sapiential.
• Charismatic.

Does this apply equally to all other "professions"?
